Classic in Every Way!
What a treat, I took my 8 year old daughter and my 79 year old Mother-in-Law....all of us were smiling ear to ear and tapping our feet. The performances were incredible. Mr. Von Trapp's voice was so beautiful and Kurt was a superstar. All the kids were amazing in the show and the set changes were really fantastic. What more can I say, if you have the chance, go see this show.
One more comment about the Fred Kavli Theater, this is our first visit there, but what a nice theater, I will definitely make the trip to attend shows here again.

Just saw the production of The Sound of Music at Drury Lane in Oakbrook and absolutely loved it! The acting, signing, stage production was all fantastic. The local papers have all given this production 5 stars, and I couldn't agree more. I haven't enjoyed myself this much at a theatrical event since first seeing The Lion King on Broadway. I was skeptical of all the praise this show is getting, but it is highly deserved. I can't imagine anyone who is a fan of this musical to not be blown away by this production. Perfect for the whole family, and the prices are extremely reasonable. Don't miss this show!
